is it lag? if so how to solve it for good
In the past week or two i have been receiving a type of problem that seems to not want to go away. When in game whenever i move my camera or im walking to a diffrent area my game freezes for about 4 seconds. I tried installing new updates for my vid card, it seemed to work for maybe 3 hrs then it seemed to appear more. I have recently bought night fall, but im hopeing thats not the problem. I started to notice this problem during mish, or in towns. Before this started to happen i had lost my connection over and over. I authorized gw.exe to my fire wall. I surpass all the minumum requirements. and i nearly fit all the best performance requirements.
i have 700+ ram
i have a NVIDIA geforce fx 5200
if any information is missing plz let me know so i can supply it to you.
i would like to get rid of the annoying problem once and for all.

I got it too, don't ask me how, little later, it stops. When I go fighting then , I just get huge lagg. But its my PC getting a little old i think. Anyway, put your firewall off and end some programs that aren't usefull. That will help too. Anyway , read this too : http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10037429

I'm using G-Force 6200 and am having the same problems (small lag spikes in game and town, mostly when changing camera direction).
Network connection stays green.
I've not tried to install updated vid. driver yet.
I've asked someone in my guild yesterday, he has the same problems.
But someone else in my guild that was also playing with us did not.
At first, I thought it started with the last update, but I've had similar problems during the HA weekend.
This is with graph settings on medium, where most of the time I run on full without problem.
If I know something more I'll let you know.

Same problem here, I didn't really notice it last night because the network lag was horrid. But this isn't network lag, because my pings have been green today.
Definitely something to do with camera rotation and character movement.
Not a system issue, either.

I see something. The problem, we all got NVIDIA graphic cards.
Don't ask me , but it's the only thing we all got :S
Even GW makes adverts for Nvidia on the boxes of Guildwars itself, but ya...

Before this weekend, the only time I ever noticed this behaviour before was in 4v4 arenas (RA/TA). After the gates open and your team runs out, the game would stutter just for a split second right before the enemy team showed up on radar. That was no big deal, since it only happened once per match, but now it's quite common when doing PVE quests or missions, et al.
Could this pertain to the game caching objects that are about to come on-screen? Or maybe an LOD bug?

Since you all are experiencing this, have you reported it to Anet?
I'm probably signing my own stress warrant here, but what have any of you tried to do to fix this?

There's actually another thread started already with a lot of people experiencing the same thing.
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10139498
I'd recommend you guys post there as any updates on it, I think, will likely come there.
